Change is something we all have to deal with in our lives. Change of work or in your personal situation. Perhaps you want or need to change or develop something in yourself. This can be enjoyable and exciting, but also complicated and difficult. As a coach, I support you in this and offer structure. Together, we explore what it takes to make that change happen and what sustainable steps you can take in the process.
I also have experienced changes. After studying history, working in services, travelling abroad and retraining, I worked for a long time as a freelance journalist and editor-in-chief. I also supported refugees in building their new lives here. After a second retraining, I made a switch to career coach. A choice I have never regretted, because in this profession all sorts of things I have learnt and done come together. And in which I can be significant.
All these changes did not happen automatically but were a process of trial and error, of self-reflection and of seeking motivation and focus. But I know that every experience brings you something new no matter what, and that you are never done learning. That’s what I like to share with you.
The people I have coached vary in age, level of education and background. I often hear that I exude calm and confidence, that they feel heard and really make progress with my guidance. Conversations are relaxed, with room for humour and counterpoint. I think along and make adjustments where necessary. When I see someone sees a future for him or herself again, taking action and making that change happen, I am energised by that too!
In my spare time, I enjoy nature and culture and do yoga. Or I just sit on the couch with a book or in front of the TV. I sometimes run workshops for networking job seekers, too.
I see the affiliation with Dynamisch Bureau as a great combination of independent entrepreneurship and working in a professional team. The motto ‘Live your talent’, I can totally relate to. Every person has talents and skills and can do something with them. I am curious about yours!
