“Every behaviour has a positive intention” This quote touched me the moment I heard it. I have noticed that people tend to be quick to judge others. How nice would it be if we were a little gentler on the people around us. This is also who I am as a coach. I think it is important to see others as they really are. And to include all their beautiful, and not so beautiful qualities.
From an early age, I have filled my backpack with the necessary life experience. And there is still something added every day. In life, you never stop learning.
I started my career with a job in healthcare. There, I already noticed that working with people energizes me. When you really listen, you hear so much more. I continued to grow as an educator and trainer in the healthcare sector. In this, coaching people also became a larger part of my work. And how beautiful it is when you see people grow.
However, I was missing something. As a trainer, I mainly teach people skills, but I want to guide people on a deeper level. This made me choose to train as an AD(H)D coach. As an experience expert with ADD, this resonated well with who I am.
And what a lot this training has brought me. Whereas before I lived from my head, now I do so much more from my feelings.
As a coach, I use NLP techniques, solution-focused coaching and systemic coaching. I find it important to create a safe atmosphere while coaching, where you are allowed to be as you are. I am empathetic, practical, honest and listen to the message behind what you say. We get to work on limiting beliefs, resources, talents and what values are important to you. Together, we explore what works for you and where you fit in.
To develop feeling further, I started participating in family constellations. I then imagine a place in the system. I still like to do this in my spare time. Furthermore, I can regularly be found in nature to relax.
It was with great enthusiasm that I joined Dynamisch Bureau. I immediately felt at home here and it allows me to develop even further.
