It is never too late to be who you might have been

People have always fascinated me and I like to explore opportunities to help them realise their ambitions. As George Eliot, the English poet and novelist, said: “It is never too late to be who you might have been”.

All of us are shaped by our experiences.  My little brother, for example, was born with a disability, which meant that he regularly had to go to the hospital with my parents. As a result, I learned to stand on my own two feet early on and found it difficult to ask others for help. I got stuck on this later on. I went to a coach and now know first-hand how life-changing that can be. This is now also a major motivation for coaching others myself.

If you decide to enter into your coaching process with me, you will be working with someone with international experience in human resources and leadership roles in business. I understand the dynamics of organizations and the demands on professionals. During my career, I have supported various organizations, teams and individuals in discovering and realising their potential.

My experience has taught me how important it is to properly understand a problem and its context, to be clear about the goal and the way forward. We will only start the process when it is clear to both of us what you want to get out of it.

It also means that each process is adapted to you and your goals. Building self-confidence, developing resilience, taking initiative, making choices and taking responsibility are always part of the coaching process.

In a process, for example, we pay attention to examining your values, strengths and thought patterns. You will also learn to recognise negative patterns and how to deal with them differently. We work with different types of exercises, such as reflection exercises, role plays, tests and feedback gathering.

Originally from Stratford upon Avon in the UK, I now live in The Hague and am a mother of four. I like to make the most of life. Gradually, I’ve also learned how important it is to take care of myself and recharge my battery by being outside.

I believe we can move forward and increase our impact by joining forces and expertise. Partly for this reason, I like to work with the professionals of Dynamisch Bureau, a company with bold and meaningful ambitions. Furthermore, I believe in the importance of humility, empathy and connection and these values are reflected in Dynamisch Bureau. I would love to meet you for an introduction!
