My aim is for you to know what your talents are, and how to use them in a suitable job. I consider it important that the counselling is tailor-made. It’s about where you stand, where you want to go, and what you need. My approach is to ask questions, name the positive and give assignments. Your input is leading in this process. You know yourself best! 

My background is in Human Resource Development. This involved how people develop and how best to facilitate this learning. I have worked as a researcher, designer and consultant/coach and mainly for educational institutions and semi-government. In doing so, I mainly worked for whole teams, but saw the talents and (development) needs of individuals. Ideally, I wanted to start offering counselling on a per-individual basis so that it better suited the person. I felt I could then make a greater contribution and that this approach made me happy. Then I spent a year retraining as a career coach and I now continue to continuously develop in different theories and practices. I am very glad I took this step then!
