Coach / Second track programme counselor

As the eldest daughter from a family with two brothers, I have learned to ‘stand my ground’, take responsibility, share and empathise with others. ‘Being able to receive’ was also useful because the jokes were spot on.

I didn’t know exactly what I wanted to be, but that it had to be ‘something with people’. I then followed in my father’s footsteps and entered the human resources profession. I started in employment services as a technical staffing intermediary at a large employment agency. I then got to grips with the HR profession at an insurance company. And then I started to specialise in the field of talent and career development, also at other organisations, because it is mainly about possibilities and opportunities. About what people are good at and what they want to be when they grow up. In my last job, I became redundant. As a result, I know how it feels when you are doing what you love most and then it suddenly stops.

I have now been working as an independent career coach for several years. I really enjoy coaching people from different backgrounds on issues about their careers, qualities and pitfalls, behaviour and beliefs and choices they face.

I have a composite family with five males, my husband and four sons. In our family, different cultures and stories come together. This brings dynamism, joy and also beautiful challenges. Brain diversity is familiar to me, two of my sons have been diagnosed with ADHD. People recognize me (and know I’m thereJ) by my loud, generous laughing.

In my coaching, I try to create a safe setting in which equality, connection, depth and humour play a major role. I easily put myself in others’ shoes and quickly get to the heart of what your situation is about. Furthermore, I like to guide you in taking small steps to initiate change and then achieve results with you. Together, we look at which methodologies and working methods suit you and help to gain insight so that you can then take the right steps yourself. I strongly believe in autonomy and personal responsibility and naturally offer you help where you get stuck. I specialise in Voice Dialogue, where the different ‘voices’ or ‘I’s’ in you are given space and you often come to very beautiful insights. I also make use of set-ups or floor anchors.

I work with Dynamisch Bureau because it is a fine club of professionals with a lot of expertise and a nice network. I see the neurotraining that trains your brain as a valuable addition. I know up close through my sons what, for example, ADHD can mean in your daily life and work. I look forward to getting to know you!
