Mieke: "I have more confidence in my own body and abilities again."

Before I started cognitive training, I was mainly very tired. Keeping up with the day was a daily puzzle; Halfway through the day I really needed a moment of rest
to get through the afternoon and evening.

Sitting behind a screen for a long time was simply not an option at that time. To keep it up in the long run, I planned a maximum of two activities in a day. My world was therefore quite limited and revolved purely around dosing.

The cognitive training was offered to me within my Werkfit program. I was very curious about what it could bring me.

What immediately appealed to me about the approach of Dynamisch Bureau was that I could do the training completely independently at home, at the times that suited me best. I was in a phase where I wanted to tackle everything that would help me take a step further, so I started with full dedication.

I experienced the training and guidance as very pleasant, although in the beginning I really had to go through a kind of barrier. During one of the first sessions I felt the well-known headache coming on. Where I would normally stop immediately, I now decided to persevere and finish the training. Immediately afterwards I was really impressed by all the stimuli, but fortunately I recovered quickly. The special thing is that I have been able to
headache that came on after that.

From that moment on, training went a lot easier. I was very motivated and ended up training five to seven
times a week if possible. This made it a fixed routine that was easy to maintain. The contact with the coach and the assistant was also very nice. It was nice to hear every now and then what the training sessions had yielded physiologically and to know that I was on the right track.

I notice the biggest difference now in my focus and energy level. I can hold my attention much longer and am generally a lot less tired. I don’t need the daily moment of rest during the day at all to get through the day. I can also work much longer behind a screen, which has given me a lot of self-confidence. I am stronger again. I see my future very positively.

At the moment I am already building up for new work. That is going very well and I am confident that it will work! To others who are still at the point where I was at the time and are in doubt, I would like to say: Just go and try it! Persevere when things get difficult. Sometimes you have to go through something to be able to move on, and regular training really helps you with that.
