“Many small steps will take you far!”
“Early on in life I learned that if I wanted to change something, I could make my own choices and take action. I learned to listen to what felt right at the time and to take the necessary steps, however scary I thought that would be.
I have had varied jobs, which I always found very satisfying, such as youth work, artist management, theater technician and manager at a large welfare organization. In this last position I dealt with many job applications from the employer’s side, which meant reading letters, making selections and conducting job interviews. This experience comes in very handy now!
When I lost my job in 2011, it was time for me to explore new opportunities. I was fairly stuck due to my own high sensitivity, and I couldn’t do much with it at the time. I have sought and received help in this.
Now I work for Dynamisch Bureau. I really like being part of a team at Dynamisch Bureau, even though I work here independently. Dynamisch Bureau offers me many possibilities for deepening and gathering knowledge, such as peer reviews and theme meetings. A lot is offered to participants in career programs, such as group sessions and Job Connection. This really appeals to me.”
