"It is never too late to be who you might have been"

“People have always fascinated me and I like to look for opportunities to help them realize their ambitions. As George Eliot, the English poet and novelist, said: “It is never too late to be who you might have been”.
We are all shaped by our experiences. For example, my brother was born with a disability, so he had to go to the hospital regularly with my parents. As a result, I learned to stand on my own two feet at an early age and found it difficult to ask others for help. I got stuck on this later. I went to a coach and now know from my own experience how life-changing that can be. This is now also an important motivation to guide others as a coach.
If you decide to start your coaching journey with me, you will be working with someone with international experience in human resources and leadership roles in business. I understand the dynamics of organizations and the demands placed on professionals. During my career, I have supported various organizations, teams and individuals in discovering and realizing their potential.
My experience has taught me how important it is to have a good understanding of a problem and its context, to be clear about the purpose and the way forward. We only start the process when it is clear to both of us what you want to get out of it. It also means that each journey is tailored to you and your goals. Building self-confidence, developing resilience, taking initiative, making choices and taking responsibility are always part of the coaching process.
In a trajectory, for example, we pay attention to examining your values, strengths and thought patterns. You also learn to recognize negative patterns and how to deal with them differently. We work with different types of exercises, such as reflection exercises, role plays, tests and collecting feedback.
Originally from Stratford upon Avon in the UK, I now live in The Hague and am a mother of four children. I like to get the most out of life. Along the way, I’ve also learned how important it is to take care of myself and recharge my batteries by being outside.
I believe that we can move forward and increase our impact by joining forces and expertise. Partly for this reason, I like to work with the professionals of Dynamisch Bureau, a company with bold and meaningful ambitions. I also believe in the importance of humility, empathy and connection and I find these values at Dynamisch Bureau. I would love to meet you for an introduction!”
