“Many people make choices for their careers at a young age, while they don’t really know who they are and what really suits them. It is not surprising that these choices do not always turn out to be correct later on. When you come to a point where you have to or may look at your career again, it is important that you do so carefully and consciously. That you discover what does suit your talents, motivations and life experience. Because I believe that often much more is possible than you think. Yes, it takes courage, curiosity and trust to make new choices. I know from my own experience how valuable such a reorientation can be.

After my technical education at the University of Applied Sciences Utrecht, I started working for an environmental consultancy firm. I soon noticed that my interest was not in the technology, but in the people around it. I had an eye for the qualities of colleagues and knew how to put together teams that made projects succeed. My supervisor then said: “You have to do something with people.” In my first coaching training, I discovered that he was right.

Since then, I have fully dedicated myself to coaching and training employees and organizations where personal development is central. With my analytical view and sincere involvement, I help people gain insight into their talents and how they can make the most of them in their work.
