“I would like to contribute with Dynamisch Bureau to prevent dismissal and illness. This is done by making work match people’s talents as much as possible. People are less likely to drop out when they are doing work that suits them. That’s why I came up with our slogan: “Live your talent!”
Should dismissal or illness do come up, I think it is important that people “take advantage” of this difficult situation so that they can make a positive new start. With our guidance, we ensure that this often difficult turnaround becomes possible. I also try not to get caught up in difficult situations and to persevere. In my private life and in my work I have already overcome hurdles in this way.
My studies in Human Movement Sciences at VU University Amsterdam were focused on People and Welfare. I worked for a short time as an ergonomist and as a reintegration coach. This last position, I took to it like a duck to water. When this work stopped, I founded Dynamisch Bureau in 2005 when I was 30.
Since starting Dynamisch Bureau, I have immersed myself in non-violent communication, followed a post-graduate training for coaching and became a TMA talent professional, both for individuals and for teams. I recently completed a 2.5-year training as an integral coach.
I am proud that since 2005 we have guided thousands of people in finding a new position that suits them. In 2023 I found a fine cooperation partner in Agnes Oosterveen and together we run Dynamisch Bureau. Meanwhile, we now have a large club of independent coaches who have joined us.
For me, too, it remains important to do what suits me. That is especially the contact with people. Now that we have grown so big, my main focus is on our (potential) clients and coaches. Occasionally, I also still supervise coachees myself. I sometimes engage Frenkie our Labradoodle in this. I get a lot of energy from my work and also live my talent myself.”
