Ravi Badal: “The contact with my coach went smoothly and felt familiar. My coach was also an open-minded person with a lot of knowledge and the right connections“

“Because of a fateful industrial accident when I was a commercial vehicle mechanic, I got into sick leave. I hadn't had a job for a while, but fortunately my UWV (body implementing employee insurance schemes in the Netherlands) mentor had introduced me to a number of reintegration agencies. I chose Dynamisch Bureau.

At Dynamisch Bureau I had the right click with my coach. The beauty of it was that my coach turned her passion into her work. I wanted this, too. All in all, she managed to guide me to a suitable job and a start to make my passion my work.

During the process, I worked hard on my personal development and challenges. Being alone with yourself for a long time makes you confront yourself and I have used this nicely. This is how I picked up my passion for bodybuilding, gained knowledge and reflected a lot on myself. I have become stronger as a human being and know that I will always grow!

I found the guidance itself during the process to be very good. Ravi Badal: ‘The contact with my coach went smoothly and felt familiar. My coach was also an open-minded person with a lot of knowledge and the right connections’. She didn’t hesitate to play the devil’s advocate once in a while, I appreciated that. Together we made a plan for my future and started working with my CV and LinkedIn profile.

It wasn’t long before I found a suitable job as a medical technician, which indirectly fits my passion for health and fitness. At the same time, through coaching, I had a clear plan for following my passion: I am currently following a training course as a Personal Trainer in addition to my work.

My tips to others? Don’t run away from yourself and work on your own ‘issues’. Observe yourself and gain knowledge, for example by reading books or coaching. It helps open your eyes. In the future, I want to coach people in their health, both physically, mentally and spiritually. With dedication and loyalty to whom I deeply am!”
